Title: Mithila & Madhubani Traditions

These works are inspired by the art of the Mithila region in Bihar, known for vibrant colors and the absence of empty space.

This series captures the essence of Madhubani art. The subject ranges from stylized deities like Radha-Krishna to symbolic fish and lotus motifs. These are done with high-contrast acrylics. Following the style of art of Mithila or Madhubani, the figures or the borders are completed with line work. 

These pieces use the large, expressive eyes and sharp features characteristic of Mithila art to portray divine love. They serve as versatile decor pieces that bring a touch of heritage to modern walls.

 

Title: Warli Tribal Narratives

These works are inspired by the art traditions and community life  of the indigenous Warli tribe of Maharashtra.

Description: These paintings use the circle, triangle, and square to depict the daily life of the Warli community. From the famous Tarpa dance to scenes of farming and forest life, these works celebrate the human connection to nature. Their simple, compositions make them ideal for modern, minimalist home decor.
